Chris Pratt’s hilarious retirement party for Jimmy Kimmel

On Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday, Chris Pratt stopped by and threw Kimmel a surprise retirement party, surprising because Kimmel is not retiring. While it was clearly a bit, it was a lot of fun. Pratt had Guillermo bring out a cake, then told Kimmel, “Now that you won’t be on TV anymore, you can have as much of that cake as you want.” Pratt went on to show the highlights of Kimmel’s 18 plus years on air, which were all Pratt.

When Kimmel explained to Pratt that he wasn’t retiring, but simply taking the rest of the summer off, Pratt replied, “Oh, you’re staying on? Why?”Then came the balloons, the banner and…Kenny G, but his time on the show was short-lived. After Kenny G asked Pratt for a picture because his kids “love Star Wars,” Pratt looked at Guillermo and said, “Giullermo, get Kenny G the f**k out of here.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on ABC.

“Jurassic World: Dominion” Release Date

“Jurassic World: Dominion” is slated for a June 10, 2022 release date, but a year ahead of its launch (and months after filming was known to be completed), the sixth movie in the “Jurassic Park” franchise is already starting its promotional campaign. On June 9, 2021, this included the announcement that an extended preview for the film will debut at “F9” IMAX showings starting on June 25 (via Deadline). It also included actor Sam Neill’s release of a poster image (via Twitter) that showed not a dinosaur, but a mosquito — the tiny insect whose predatory instincts allowed dinosaur DNA to be collected for the purposes of returning dinosaurs to the present day.

Chris Pratt likely to sign a big Netflix deal

American actor-comedian Chris Pratt is currently enjoying the heyday of his acting career so Netflix thought of taking some benefit out of it by offering him some special bargain.

The great Netflix deal for the 41-year-old most bankable star in Hollywood includes five movies and three television shows, according to the media rumours. The actor may wait for the success of his upcoming movie The Tomorrow War before he signs the deal.

The science-fiction blockbuster The Tomorrow War is going to set the tone for the Netflix deal. In the movie, the time travellers are seen landing on the planet to tell that humanity is losing the war against an alien species. The trailer of the Chris Pratt-starrer looks fabulous and speaks volumes that the movie is set to earn big bucks at the box office. The actor is also sure of its immense success.

Chris Pratt catapulted to fame through his breakout role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Guardians of the Galaxy. The actor has a very tight schedule for the foreseeable future as he has several films being premiered this year and in 2021.   It is yet to be seen if Chris Pratt inks the massive Netflix contract. If he gets the deal, he will be required to develop content under his Indivisible Productions banner.

Photos: “Jurassic World: Dominion” Behind the Scenes

We’ve added to our photogallery a new BTS image of Chris Pratt in “Jurassic World: Dominion”. Jurassic World: Dominion endured a difficult production last year. It began in February, but weeks later had to be shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film was later one of the first major productions to pick up in July, but still had some difficulties over the coming months. Jurassic World: Dominion finally wrapped in the fall, but it wasn’t enough to stop Universal from pushing it back from 2021 to 2022. With still over a year to go before the movie is released, it remains to be seen when further official looks will debut.
